19 year old Shaquonica Hill of Paducah was arrested after deputies responded to her home for a domestic assault. Deputies found the 17 year old victim outside with burns on her chest and neck. During the investigation we learned the girls had been arguing, and it became physical when the suspect threw a pan of boiling water on her sister. Mercy responded and transported the victim to Western Baptist Hospital.

The victim was later transferred to Vanderbilt Hospital's burn unit in Nashville Tennessee with 2nd degree burns on 15% of her body.
