SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION SENDS PADUCAH MAN TO HOSPITAL.

At 2210 hours the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept was dispatched to a unoccupied vehicle off in a ditch on New Hope Church Road. When deputies arrived they located a 1992 Saturn SC2 that had apparently ran off the roadway. A second call came into Central Dispatch that the operator 35 yo Eddie L.Whited called family to come take him to the hospital. The investigation showed that Whited was East on New Hope Church when he came around a curve and a deer was standing in the roadway. Whited went off the right shoulder striking an earth embankment, causing injuries to his head and neck. The sheriff's dept was assisted by Meadow's Towing Service to clean up the collision.
