Mark Harper (05-08-1965) of 185 Butler Lane was taken to Western Baptist Hospital due to injuries he sustained in a single vehicle motorcycle accident. Harper was South bound on Oaks Road when he lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson in a curve. It appeared that as Harper was attempting to negotiate a right curve when he lost control of the motorcycle and was unable to regain control of it before skidding off the roadway. When Deputies arrived on the scene they found Harper lying beside his motorcycle bleeding from his head and unresponsive. Reidland / Farley responded to the scene and assisted with Harper until Mercy Regional arrived. Harper was transported to Baptist for treatment of his injuries. Harpers condition was listed as critical. Alcohol is considered to be a contributing factor in the crash. Deputy D Ramage was the investigating officer and was assisted at the scene by members of the Reidland Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional Ambulance and Meadows Wrecker Service of Paducah.
