VEHICLE COLLISION SEND TWO PADUCAH MEN TO JAIL.

10/27/2009

At 01:43 hours the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. responded to a single vehicle collision called in by a Paducah Police Officer. Officer Nathan Jamiet witnessed the vehicle run off the roadway at Estes Lane and Husbands Road. Off. Jamiet then had two subjects flee the scene. Christopher Ruggles 27 yoa of Paducah stayed at the scene after he exited the vehicle. Ruggles was arrested for Alcohol Intoxication and Possession of an Open Container in a Motor Vehicle.

Christopher Miller 26 yoa of Paducah was located approximately 300 yards away from the collision scene, in a wooded area. Locating foot prints from the wet yards and Thermal Image Camera's utilized by the Reidland Farley Fire Dept. assisted in the capture of Miller. When Officers closed in on Miller's location, he then fled on foot from officers. After Miller was arrested he was transported to Western Baptist ER by Mercy Ambulance, complaining of minor injuries from the collision. Miller was also arrested for a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a court date.

The third individual that supposedly fled the scene was unable to be located. He has not yet been identified. The only tip we have at this time is the subject's nickname is KFC. If you have any information about this case, please contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. at 270-444-4719
