On October 28th, 2009, at approx 0500 hrs, a Red 1999 Ford F-150 Pick up driven by Linda Cornwell, 53 Y.O.A., of Symsonia failed to negotiate a curve in the 4100 block of oaks road, ran off the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned.
Mrs. Cornwell was determined to be the only occupant in the vehicle.
She suffered multiple injuries including a possible head injury, she was extricated from the vehicle by non-mechanical means by Reidland Farley FD, and transported to Lourdes ER by Mercy Regional Ambulance.
Oaks Road was blocked for approx. 30 minutes to facilitate removal of the vehicle.
It is unknown at this time what contributing factors (ie. Deer, Sleepy) which may have lead Mrs. Cornwell to run off the roadway.
