At approximately 1700hrs today, sheriffs deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Husbands Road and Homewood Avenue for a injury collision. Upon arrival deputies found that Baron Robertson 52 of Paducah had been traveling northbound ( in a 1991 Dodge Dakota )and misjudged a vehicle turning onto Homewood Avenue, causing him to rear end another vehicle. The other vehicle ( a 2000 Nissan Frontier ) was driven by Charles Hobbs 59, of Paducah accompanied by a passenger George Hobbs 74, also of Paducah. George Hobbs and Baron Robertson were transported to Lourdes hospital by Mercy Regional EMS for injuries sustained in the collision. Traffic was delayed at the intersection for approximately 35 mins. Both vehicles remained in service.
