Collision sends 1 man to hospital for injuries

   Deputies were dispatched to Husbands road at the Lydon road intersection to a collision with injuries. Upon arrival I found that a 2009 Harley Davison motorcycle, driven by 58 year old Carl Larrison of Paducah, had rear ended a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by 85 year old Porter Barnes of Symsonia.

   Larrison stated he heard a siren and turned to see where it was coming from. In the time that he looked around the car ahead of him had stopped on Husbands road waiting for north bound traffic to pass so he could turn onto Lydon road. When Larrison realized the car had stopped he was unable to aviod the collision. 

   Larrison was transported to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment of his injuries, by Mercy regional ambulance. He was wearing his helmet at the time of the collision.

   Also on scene was the Reidland Farley Fire Department.
