Subject:

Paducah Man Arrested on Violation of a Domestic Violence Order

Date:

November 13, 2009

On November 13, 2009 at approximately 2:00 pm McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives, assisted by Sgt. Garry Clark of Fish and Wildlife arrested a Paducah man for violating a Kentucky Domestic Violence Order.

The investigation began when Sgt. Garry Clark of Fish and Wildlife received a tip that alleged that Bradley Feezor of Hummingbird Lane, had illegally taken a deer out of season with a firearm. Detectives accompanied Clark to 2125 Hummingbird Lane in Paducah to investigate the complaint. Upon arrival at the residence, Clark and the detectives located Bradley Feezor. Feezor initially denied that he had been hunting or had taken a deer. A search of the residence revealed evidence of a recent deer kill.

Clark and the detectives located two firearms concealed inside a shed on the property that were wrapped inside a sheet. A short time later Clark located what was left of the eight point buck deer that had been killed by Feezor the day prior in a near by wooded area.

A check of Feezor's history revealed that he is currently under a domestic violence order which states that he not to possess any firearms. Feezor admitted that he and in fact killed the deer and he kept the firearms concealed in the shed because he knew he was not suppose to have them in his possession.

Arrested: Bradley L. Feezor, 33 of Hummingbird Lane

Charges: Violation of a Kentucky Domestic Order, Hunting without a license, Illegal taking of a deer, failure to tag or check a deer in, and hunting without deer tags
