On November 17th at approximately 2:33 pm the McCracken County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to an accident with injuries in the curve of South Friendship by Beyer Cemetery.  On arrival, Deputies observed a two vehicle head on collision had taken place in the curve.  Angela Strickland of Clinton, 26, stated she was driving her 1999 Volkswagen Beetle south bound on South Friendship when she overestimated the curve and crossed the center line.  Kwi Farrar of Paducah, 46, was driving north bound on South Friendship in her 1999 Mercury Mountaineer when she observed Ms. Strickland in her lane.  Both vehicles struck head on and left the roadway partially.  Deputies had South Friendship between Timothy and Gillhaven blocked for approximately 50 minutes.  Mrs. Farrar was accompanied by her two sons in the vehicle with her.  Mercy Ambulance responded to the scene for injuries and transported all four to Lourdes Hospital.  Lone Oak Fire Department and Sergeant Gary Clark with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife assisted with the accident and traffic control.
