On 12-12-09 at approx. 2330 hrs, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies, Lone Fire Dept., and Mercy Regional Ambulance, were dispatched to an injury accident at the intersection of US 45 and Lovelaceville Florence Station Rd West. The collision involved two vehicles and both drivers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of possible injuries. Ronald Blankenship, 39 y.o.a., of Paducah, was attempting to cross US 45 on Lovelaceville Florence Station Rd West, in his White 2000 Chevrolet Blazer when he collided with a Silver 2007 Toyota Camry traveling Southbound on US 45 driven by 23 year old Victoria Clark of Mayfield, Ky. Both were transported to hospital by Mercy Regional Ambulance. The collision caused partial lane blockage on US 45 North and South bound lanes for just over an hour. |
