On
01-07-2010 at approximately 0812 hours, the McCracken County
Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle collision with injury
in the 2500 block of Mayfield-Metropolis Road. Operator
Lucinda J. Rhea, age 47 from Paducah, was driving a Chrysler Sebring
westbound on Mayfield-Metropolis Road when she lost control.
She was delivering Louisville Courier-Journal papers. Due to
the snow-covered roadway, she lost control and went off the
left-shoulder and down a ditch where she struck a large tree.
Rhea
was transported to Lourdes Hospital by Mercy EMS due to her
injuries.
Vanzant's
towed the vehicle from the scene.
The
Concord Fire Department helped assist at the scene.
