McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives arrested four individuals charging them with various drug offenses on January 7, 2010. The arrests were a result of two investigations that were conducted by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division.

On January 7th, 2010 at approximately 8:47 pm McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives assisted by the Paducah Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment (Brandon Walraven's apartment) inside the Irvin Cobb Apartments in Paducah located at 600 Broadway. Once inside detectives immediately noted a strong odor of burnt marijuana inside the apartment. Detectives located Brandon Walraven inside the master bathroom of the apartment attempting to flush marijuana. Christopher D. Gray was located sitting in the living room of the residence with a small amount of marijuana in front of him. Detectives conducted a search of the apartment and seized a quantity of marijuana along with assorted drug paraphernalia.

As part of their investigation, detectives also conducted a search of Gray's apartment that was also located inside the Irvin Cobb Apartments and located an additional quantity of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe.

On January 7th, 2010 McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives executed a second search warrant at approximately 11:51 pm at 3255 North Friendship Road. Upon executing the warrant detectives located Robert "Jared" Moss inside along with his wife Ashley Moss. Moss was arrested on outstanding charges that allege that he had sold in excess of eight ounces of marijuana to a confidential source during an investigation conducted by the McCracken County Sheriff's Drug Division. Detectives conducted a search of the residence and seized numerous baggies of marijuana packaged for sale, plastic baggies, a marijuana grinder, doses of Lortab, currency believed to be proceeds from drug sales and assorted drug paraphernalia. While detectives were conducting a search of the residence, Moss attempted to swallow four doses of Lortab in an attempt to destroy them for fear he would be charged with them.
