On 01-10-10 at approx 0315 hrs McCracken County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of Yarbro Lane for a report from Sholanda Mitchell, 18 y.o.a. that her ex boyfriend and another male subject were breaking into her residence. Ms. Mitchell reported her ex boyfriend, Phillip Pipes, 20 y.o.a., of Paducah, had called stating he would kick down the door to get to her if she would not let him in. Ms. Mitchell fled to a neighbor and reported as deputies were responding that Mr. Pipes and another subject, Duante Aydelott, 19 y.o.a. of paducah, had arrived at the residence and Mr. Pipes had instead kicked in a door and entered the residence breifly. Mr. Pipes and Mr. Aydelott then fled the area in a Maroon 1997 Dodge Intrepid North on Yarbro Lane. A responding Deputy met the suspects and turned around in an attempt to stop them. The suspect vehicle sped up turning East on Hovekamp Rd then South on John L Puryear Dr then West on Estes Ln and then turning into the dead end road, Jennings Ln where the vehicle was stopped and the two men were taken into custody without further incident.  Both were lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
