At approximately 1542 hours this date a pickup truck driven by 66 year old Richard Hurt of Kevil, Kentucky, was involved in a single vehicle collision with injuries.  The collision occurred in the 9400 block of Blandville Road.  The driver was West bound on Blandville Road when he drove off the roadway into a dirt and brush pile.  Upon striking the dirt and brush pile the vehicle continued out into a field where it became stuck in the mud.  The driver had 2 children in the vehicle with him, 13 year old Corey Lynn and 9 year old Peyton Hurt, both of Kevil, Kentucky.  Members of the Concord Fire Department assisted at the scene.  Mercy EMS treated and transported the 2 children to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
