2 Vehicle accident on Lone Oak Road sends 1 to hospital |

At
approximately 3:40 pm this afternoon Deputy Davant Ramage was
dispatched to the 2600 block of Lone Oak for an injury
accident. A car driven by Megan M Currin 18
yoa of Paducah ran into the rear of a vehicle driven by Jerry
W Walker Jr 34 yoa of
Paducah as well. Walker was south bound on Lone Oak Rd and stopped
at the traffic light at Lone Oak RD and Glenn
ST. Currin failed to stop and ran into the rear of Walkers vehicle.
Walkers vehicle is owned by the Paducah Public School System.
Currin was complaining of chest pain from her seatbelt and was
transported to Western Baptist for treatment of non-life threatening
injuries. Walker was not injured. Deputy Ramage was assisted
at the scene by the Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional
Ambulance Service and Deputy Derrick Pugh of the McCracken County
Sheriffs Department. Megan Currin was transported to Baptist
by Mercy Regional.
