Deputy Derick Pugh and Deputy Tom Crabtree responded to an injury accident in the curve of the 1800 block of Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West. Charles L. Willis, 32 of Paducah, left his residence on his 2003 Honda CBR 600cc on his way to show the bike to sale. Mr. Willis stated he took a curve at a slow speed but due to the tires being cold, he lost traction and laid the bike down in the curve. Mr. Willis was thrown off the bike and he and the bike landed in the nearby field. Mr. Willis complained of minor injuries due to road rash. Mr. Willis was wearing a full face helmet and riding jacket with chest and back protection. Mr. Willis was treated at the scene by Lone Oak Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance for minor injuries. Mr. Willis was transported to Lourdes Hospital for further treatment of non-life threatening injuries. |
