| On 03-21-2010 at approximately 1056, the McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Clarks River Road by Jamestown Plaza. Eva Anderson (45 YOA of Ledbetter) was driving a Pontiac Grand Am westbound on Clarks River Road when she turned left onto a turnaround by Jamestown Plaza. She then attempted to cross both eastbound lanes of traffic on Clarks River Road to get to Jamestown Plaza (Bingo Hall) when she collided with a Nissan truck. The truck was driven by Clarence Barkley (56 YOA from Paducah). He was eastbound on Clarks River Road in the right lane when the collision took place. Mrs. Anderson was taken to Lourdes Hospital by Mercy EMS due to an injury. Her vehicle was towed to Speedy's. Mr. Barkley was taken to Western Baptist Hospital by Mercy EMS due to his injuries. His vehicle was towed to Bell's. The Reidland-Farley Fire Department helped assist at the scene of the collision. The right lane of Clarks River Road was blocked due to this accident for approximately 30 minutes. | |||||
