Sheriffs Department arrests man after vehicle pursuit

McCracken County Sheriffs Deputy Davant Ramage turned around on and attempted to stop a 2006 Chevy driven by Bryan Charles Spry, 04-28-1983 Highland Terrace Apt 16, Paducah KY.  The suspect was observed on North Friendship Road failing to dim his headlights and with out any tail lights.  When Deputy Ramage attempted to stop the vehicle Spry refused to stop.  Spry then continued to the intersection of US 60 and Olivet Church Road.  Spry stopped for the traffic light and Deputy Ramage attempted to make driver contact.  Deputy Ramage was able to get a look at the driver just before he sped off.  Spry then led Deputies on a low speed pursuit for several minutes and then fled on foot behind the exit three truck stop.  Speeds were never above 60mph during the pursuit.  Deputies, along with Sheriff Hayden searched the area for approximately two and a half hours.  Spry was found by Deputies, Steve Croft and Sgt. David Shepard at his girlfriends apartment, Highland Terrace Apt 16, hiding in a closet and was arrested without further incident.  Spry was charged with Fleeing and Evading 1st, Operating on a suspended operators license, No tail lamps and Failure to dim headlights.
