| At 08:40 this morning the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. received a call of a single vehicle accident on US 45 (Lone Oak Rd.) in front of US Bank. James R. Acree 56 of Paducah was operating a 2000 Mercury Villager minivan south bound on Lone Oak Rd. and crossed over the north bound lanes. The vehicle struck a concrete curb and then struck a utility pole. It was determined by medical personnel that Mr. Acree had lost consciousness due to a diabetic emergency. He was transported to Western Baptist Hospital for treatment by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service. Assisting at the scene was Lone Oak Fire Department. | |||||
