Between 05/28/09 and 09/11/09, Joseph O Scott, forged several of his mother's (Doris Scott) checks, to obtain merchandise and cash from several area businesses. On 18 separate occasions, Mr. Scott forged the checks, which totaled close to $700.

On this date, Mr. Scott was arrested in the 1600 block of Jenny's Lane, in Paducah

Arrested: Joseph O. Scott, 37, Jenny's Lane, Paducah, Ky.

Charges: 18 Counts of Forgery 2nd Degree
