Probationer Arrested For Trafficking In Marijuana

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division has arrested a Paducah Man charging him with Trafficking in Marijuana and Fleeing and Evading the Police.
 
On 04/01/2010 detectives with McCracken and Marshall County Sheriff's Departments conducted an undercover operation the consisted of making marijuana purchases from Christopher Moore at his residence. Later in the evening detectives executed a search warrant at approximately 9:30 pm at Moore's North 25th Street residence. As detectives were pulling in the driveway, Moore fled on foot and was apprehended by deputies after a short foot chase. A search of Moore's person revealed US currency believed to be proceeds of marijuana sales.
 
Detectives conducted a search of the residence and located additional Marijuana inside. Moore was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
 
Moore was on felony probation out of McCracken County for possession of cocaine at the time of his arrest.
 
Arrested: Christopher Moore 19, of North 25th Street in Paducah
 
Charges: Trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces and 2nd degree fleeing and evading the police on foot
