| A three vehicle accident around 16:34 backed up traffic in both directions for about 20 mins. Suzanne Yarboro 57 of Arlington, Ky said she was westbound on Blandville road approaching the hill just before the Information Age Park, she said she uses her cruise control to avoid speeding and had it on prior to the accident. Ms. Yarboro stated she noticed the brakes lights of the vehicles in front of her but did not realize they were stopped until it was too late to avoid the collision. Ms.Yarboro's 2009 Toyota Corrolla struck the rear of a 2010 GMC Arcadia causing her airbags to deploy. The GMC was being driven by 37 year old Teri Wentworth of Paducah, Ky. The impact caused Wentworth's vehicle to collide with the vehicle in front of her. That vehicle was a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Paul Housholder also of Paducah. All of the drivers refused treatment and transport by Ambulance. Yarboro's and Wentworth's vehicles had to be towed from the scene, Housholder's remained in service. The Sheriff's department was assisted by Concord Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance. | |||||
