Paducah Couple Arrested Following Early Morning Search

McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives have have arrested a Paducah couple charging them with Marijuana trafficking offenses.
 
On 04-28-2010 at approximately 1:32 am detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division executed a search warrant at 1022 Dundale. Detectives located Damien A. Bowles and Elaine D. Taylor inside the master bedroom of the residence along with a quantity of Marijuana .
 
A search of the residence and the property revealed approximately one pound of marijuana, digital scales and several hundred dollars in US currency believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. The couple was arrested following the search. A computer check revealed that Bowles was also wanted on three outstanding warrants, two for traffic offenses and one for violation of probation.
 
Elaine Taylor was on felony probation at the time of her arrest for complicity to trafficking in excess of five pounds of Marijuana from a 2007 McCracken County conviction.
 
Damien Bowles was also on felony probation at the time of his arrest from two prior convictions for trafficking in cocaine that stemmed 2006 McCracken County conviction.
 
Both Bowles and Taylor were lodged in the McCracken County Jail
 
Arrested: Damien A. Bowles 28, of Dundale Road
 
Charges: 2nd offense trafficking in Marijuana over eight  ounces (A class "C" felony punishable by 5-10 in prison, 2nd offense possession of drug paraphernalia (punishable by 1-5 years in prison)
 
Arrested: Elaine D. Taylor 22, of Dundale Road
 
Charges: Facilitation to 2nd offense trafficking in Marijuana over eight ounces
