The McCracken County Sheriff's Department are looking for anyone with information relating to two recent thefts from the concession stand of the Reidland Baseball Fields located at 629 Said Road in McCracken County.

The first theft was reported on April 20, 2010. Someone(s) had reportedly broken into the concession stand by forcing open a door. Taken was a small safe that contained an unspecified amount of money.

The second theft was reported this morning May 06, 2010. Dep. Dwayne Pickett listed in his report that a condenser portion of an outside air conditioning unit was stolen sometime during the overnight hours. The item was most likely stolen for it's copper content.

"This is a non-profit group of volunteers that operate these ball fields and concession stand. Monies made are put back into the facility and to fund the upkeep of the ball fields for our counties youth. These thefts have placed a significant burden on the financial aspect of the operation."

"We encourage anyone with information about those responsible for these thefts to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at 444-4719 or Crimestoppers at 443-TELL. Tips can also be emailed to the department by visiting the departments website at www.mccrackencountysheriff.com ."
