Two arrested following drug investigations

McCracken County Sheriff's Detectives have arrested and charged two individuals in connection with two separate drug cases following indictments by a McCracken County Grand Jury.
 
On May 26, 2010 at approximately 10:00 am at the request of McCracken County Sheriff's Department, detectives with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department located Bobbie Parker at her residence in Benton. Parker was arrested on two McCracken County indictment warrants for two counts of trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Oxycontin. Parker is alleged to have to sold several doses of Oxycontin to a confidential witness during the months of February and April in McCracken County. Parker was indicted by a McCracken County Grand Jury on May 7th 2010. Additionally detectives seized a 1997 Mercury passenger car that belonged to Parker that used by Parker during the commission of these offenses.
 
In a separate investigation, detectives with McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division located Edmundo Aviles at approximately 10:30 am at his residence on Flora Avenue in Paducah and arrested him on an indictment warrant for one count of trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance-Morphine. Aviles is alleged to have sold several doses of Morphine to a confidential witness during the month of March in McCracken County. Aviles was indicted by a McCracken County Grand Jury on May 7th 2010. Additionally detectives seized a 2005 Toyota passenger car that was used by Aviles during the commission of this offense.
 
 
 
Arrested: Bobbie Parker 53, of Walnut Court in Benton Kentucky
 
Charges: Trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance- Oxycontin X 2 (A Class "C" felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison)
 
 
 
Arrested: Edmundo Aviles 64, of Flora Avenue in Paducah 
 
Charges:  Trafficking in a 1st degree controlled substance-Morphine (A Class "C" felony punishable by 5-10 years in prison)
