Paducah Man Arrested for Marijuana Trafficking

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept Drug Division have arrested a Paducah man with Marijuana trafficking following a half pound marijuana delivery.

 

On June 1, 2010 detectives with the drug division received information that Christian B. Harper was selling large quantities of marijuana. Detectives learned through their investigation that Harper had planned to deliver a half pound of marijuana at a location in Paducah, McCracken County. 

 

Detectives conducted surveillance in the area of Farley Place and Clement Streets in Paducah. At approximately 4:13 P.M. Harper arrived in the 200 block of Farley Place in Paducah McCracken County driving a 1995 Chevy Tahoe. Harper was observed pulling in the driveway of a residence. Detectives made contact with Harper, where a search of the vehicle and Harper were conducted. A search of Harper's vehicle resulted, in detectives recovering approximately a one half pound of marijuana wrapped up in a plastic bag.  Detectives were assisted in the operation by detectives with the Paducah Police Dept and the Marshall County Sheriff's Dept.

Arrested: Christian B. Harper, 35, of Maxon Rd in Paducah KY.

 

Charges:  One count of Trafficking in Marijuana 8oz to 5lbs 1st offense(A Class "D" Felony, punishable with 1 to 5 years in Prison
