DUI Arrestee in Violation of Probation

On 06/11/2010 at approximately 21:53, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputy Colleen Pennebaker observed Mr Michael Scott Lindblad, 24, of Paducah KY  traveling westbound on US60 at a rate of 94MPH in a 55MPH speed zone.  Upon initiating traffic stop, Mr. Lindblad traveled approximately 1 1/2 miles, while deputy was turning around, then Mr. Lindblad made a right turn onto Metropolis Lake Road.   Mr. Lindblad then traveled approximately 1/3 mile and Deputy observed Mr. Lindblad turn abrubtly into the driveway at 3750 Metropolis Lake Road, and turn off lights in an attempt to elude Deputy.  Mr. Lindblad was found to be driving under the influence, and was charged with DUI,  Fleeing or evading police 2nd degree, Possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, and speeding 39 miles over the speed limit (reckless driving).  Mr. Lindblad stated that he was attempting to get back home in such a hurry to avoid being in violation of probation.  He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
