Two
vehicle accident sends one to hospital.

| On 06-14-10 at approximately 4:30, Courtney L. Buckman 17 of West Paducah was traveling north on Kelley Road in a 1991 Olds Cutlass and stopped at the intersection of US 60 west. Ms. Buckman proceeded north on Kelly Road crossing the east bound lane of US 60 and pulled into the path of Mitchell D. Stewart 50 of Paducah. Mr. Stewart was operating a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup east bound on US 60 and was unable to avoid the accident. The Stewart vehicle struck the left side of the Buckman vehicle trapping her inside. Ms. Buckman was extricated from her vehicle by non mechanical means by West McCracken Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service. Due to her injuries she was air lifted from the scene by PHI Air Medical and transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville Indiana. That portion of US 60 was closed for approximately one hour. | |||||
