Two occupants killed in rollover collision on Said Road.

   On June 15, 2010 at approximately 2205hrs, Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Said Road in Reidland for a rollover collision. Upon our arrival on scene deputies found that a white SUV was traveling southbound on Said Road from Benton Road when the driver of the vehicle lost control causing the vehicle to roll several times before coming to rest in a yard on the east side of Said Road. Two occupants were ejected from the vehicle, one subject was assisted out of the vehicle without the use of mechanical means and one was extracted by mechanical means. Two of the occupants were pronounced dead at the scene and the remaining two occupants were taken by ambulance to area hospitals. Alcohol consumption is believed to be a major contributing factor in this collision.

    The McCracken County Sheriffs Office was assisted at the scene by The McCracken County Coroners Office, Reidland Farley Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS, and The McCracken County Disaster Emergency Services.   

This collision is under investigation by The McCracken County Sheriffs Office and information, including names, are being withheld until notification can be made to the occupants family members. Additional information will be released at a later date.
