Injury accident closes Blandville Road for approximately 1 hour.

At approximately 1601 hours McCracken Sheriff's Deputies responded to an injury accident in the 8800 block of Blandville Road.  On arrival Deputies observed that 81 year old Wanda Moyers of West Paducah was pulling out of a field across from her residence driving her 1984 Chevy Pickup.  Moyers pulled out on to Blandville Road and stated she never saw an approaching vehicle.  Ross Moyers of Wickliffe was riding in the bed of the pickup as they were spraying the field just prior to entering the roadway.  Larry T. Dennis, 40 of Wickliffe was operating his 2007 Kia 4 door when he observed Moyers enter the roadway.  Dennis stated he attempted to overtake Mrs. Moyers but Moyers turned into her residence.  Dennis stated he never observed a turn signal on Mrs. Moyers vehicle.  Mr. Moyers was transported to Lourdes and Mrs. Moyers to Western Baptist.  Deputies assisted by Concord Fire and Mercy Ambulance.  Road was closed for approximately 1 hour.
