Injury accident on Oaks RD

At around 11pm tonight, McCracken County Sheriffs deputies along with Reildland fire department, and Mercy Regional Ambulance service were dispatched to Oaks RD.

Allen Christy, 57, of Carbondale IL, was traveling eastbound in a 1992 Chevrolet Suburban pulling a trailer. While negotiating a right curve his trailer drifted over the center line causing a Pontiac Sunfire driven by Chad Oliver, 34, of Paducah traveling westbound to strike the trailer. 

Mr.. Christy along with two other passengers Robert Boss, 24, and Thomas Boss, 3, of Glendale IL, were transported by Mercy Ambulance service to Lourdes Hospital for back and neck pain.

Mr.. Oliver and his son Chance Oliver, 6, were checked by Mercy and released.

Oaks RD was shut down for approximately two hours.
