| On 08-03-2010 at 4:09 pm the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. received a call of a two vehicle accident on McKendrie Church Road in the 2700 block. A 1978 pickup driven by George A. Carpenter 59 of Kevil was south bound pulling a 16 foot utility trailer and attempted to turn left into a driveway. Kenneth E. Dalton 43 of Boaz was north bound in a 2000 Chevy Lumina and could not stop in time and struck the utility trailer. Both Carpenter and Dalton were not injured. Two passengers, Faye L. Dalton 65 of Kevil and Dorris F. Spees 51 of Boaz where transported to the hospital for minor injuries. The roadway was closed for approximately one hour. Assisting on scene was West McCracken Fire Dept. and Mercy Ambulance Service. | |||||
