At 1530 hours the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept responded to the intersection of Woodville Road and Hobbs Road for a 3 vehicle injury collision. The investigation showed that 49 yoa Ricky Blankenship of Bandana was west on Woodville Road and was stopped at the intersection of Hobbs Road in a 2001 Ford Utility Van. Blankenship then proceeded through the stop sign and did not see a 2007 Dodge Durango traveling south on Hobbs Road. The Durango was driven by 34 yoa Timothy Donaldson of Paducah. Donaldson's vehicle after being struck by Blankenship then struck a 2007 Dodge Ram P/U that was stopped at the stop sign in the eastbound lane of Woodville Road. The truck was driven by 24 yoa Shawn Peeler of Kevil. Blankenship and Peeler both refused medical treatment at the scene. Donaldson and his wife 31 yoa Liatisher Donaldson suffered possible injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service. Traffic was slowed for approximately one hour while crews worked to clean up the scene. The Sheriff's Dept was assisted by West McCracken Fire Dept., Mack's Towing, Jason's Towing, Blankenship's Towing and USEC Security/Police.
