Accident Kentucky Dam Road

On August 4, 2010 at 1820 an injury accident occurred at the intersection of Kentucky Dam Road and Old Calvert City Road. Charles A. Roach 32 of Paducah was operating a 2000 Chrysler 300M and traveling south on Old Calvert City Road. Mr. Roach had stopped at the stop sign north of Kentucky Dam Road. Mr. Roach then crossed into the median and into the path of a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup operated by Jordan Duncan 19 of Ledbetter. Mr. Duncan was traveling east on Kentucky Dam Road when Mr. Roach crossed in front of him. Reidland Fire used mechanical means to remove Mr. Roach from his vehicle. Mr. Roach, Mr. Duncan and Mr. Duncan's passenger Lacey Webb 17 of Benton was transported to Western Baptist Hospital by Mercy Regional for treatment due to there injuries. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted by Reidland Fire and Mercy Regional.
