One goes to hospital after accident on US 60

At approx. 0750hrs on Aug. 10, 2010, the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. West McCracken Fire Dept. and Mercy Regional Ambulance were dispatched to US 60 at the intersection of Hobbs road for a two vehicle injury accident. 41 year old Alicia Carter of Kevil and her passenger, 60 year old Shelby Lowless of Ledbetter, were stopped in traffic at the intersection in a red, 2007 Dodge Charger behind a white, 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. This vehicle was driven by 27 year old Elizabeth Coffman of Humboldt, Tn. Passengers in the vehicle were Ms. Coffman's two year old son Trevor, 69 year old Sylvia Robinson of Lake Wales Fl, and 65 year old Clare Shepard of Farmington Mo. Ms. Carter's vehicle bumped the rear of the vehicle driven by Ms. Coffman while they were stopped at the intersection. Ms. Coffman was transported to Lourdes ER for a possible injury. One lane of US 60 was blocked by emergency Vehicles for approx 20 minutes.
