2 vehicle injury accident w/ 2 injured on Lone Oak Rd

At approx. 1240hrs on Aug. 13, 2010, the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. Lone Oak Fire Dept. and Mercy Regional Ambulance were dispatched to Lone Oak Road near Parkers Drive Inn for a two vehicle injury accident. 58 year old Lillies Mayberry of Hickman and her passenger, 36 year old Christopher Mayberry of Calumet City IL were traveling Northbound on Lone Oak Road in a Blue, 2010 Hyundai Elantra. 69 year old Robert Steele of Paducah was traveling Northbound beside this vehicle in his White, 2001 Kia Sportage. Ms. Mayberry swerved to the right to avoid another vehicle that pulled out from a parking lot crossed Southbound traffic and partially into her lane. The side of Ms. Mayberry's vehicle side swiped the side of Mr. Steele's vehicle, who then ran off the right shoulder and struck a utility pole. Both Ms. Mayberry and Mr. Steele were transported to Lourdes ER by Mercy regional Ambulance for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The Northbound Lanes of Lone Oak Road were blocked for approx 40 minutes.
