Injury Collision KY DAM Road Injures ONE.

At 19:53 hours the McCracken County Sheriff's Dept. responded to an injury collision on KY DAM Rd at the intersection of Calvert Drive. The investigation showed that Terry D. Gamblin 64 yoa of Calvert City, was East in his 1997 Ford F-150 when a passenger car pulled into his path. Mr. Gamblin stated he was not injured and refused medical treatment at the scene. The 17yoa driver of the 2003 Toyota Camry was transported to an area hospital for possible injuries to his head and neck. The Juvenile was later cited after making admissions to have been drinking alcohol prior to the collision. The two passengers in the Camry, 16 yoa Jesse Riley of Paducah and 15 yoa Hillary Pittman of Paducah, did not seek medical treatment and left the scene before Emergency Personnel arrived. The Eastbound lane traffic to KY DAM Road was diverted for approximately one hour while the scene could be cleaned up. The Sheriff's Dept was assisted by Reidland Fire Dept, Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, and Bell's and Sullivan's Towing services.
