An investigation at Exit 11 Exxon on John L Puryear Drive today resulted in the arrest of an employee for felony theft of cigarettes. Ms. Throgmorton's vehicle stopped and three cartons of cigarettes were located hidden under the seat. During the subsequent interview Ms. Throgmorton disclosed the location of two additional cartons still concealed inside the store. Further information obtained indicated Ms. Throgmorton had stolen at least 20 more cartons during the previous weeks. Ms. Throgmorton was lodged in The McCracken County Regional Jail on one count of Felony Theft By Unlawful Taking for the theft of over 25 cartons of cigarettes valued at over $1,100.00.
