At around 2:20 pm today , this department investigated an accident on Lone Oak Road.

 

 Mary Fossett  of Paducah Kentucky, was traveling North on Lone Oak Road in her 2000 Buick when she pulled from the Median and pulled into the path of another vehicle. Fossett told Deputies that she never seen any vehicle as she pulled into the left hand lane. Fossett pulled into the path of Kevin Eyster. Eyster was driving his 2000 Pontiac North on Lone Oak Road and could not stop before he struck Fossett in the rear end. Both parties that were involved were transported to Lourdes Hospital due to their injuries.

 

Both Fossett and Eyster were wearing seat belts.

 

The Sheriff's Dept was assisted by the Lone Oak Fire Dept. Meadows and Hippies  assisted with the Towing and cleaning  the roadway.
