Injury Accident On Krebs Station Rd.

On January 9, 2012 at approximately 1812 hours, deputies responded to the intersection of Krebs Station Road and Houser Road for a vehicle accident with injuries. 

 

Upon arrival, it was determined that Elizabeth Conkwright, 18 of Paducah Ky was operating her 2007 Honda Pilot with East on Krebs Station Road.  Conkwright slowed at the intersection at Houser Road and attempted to make a right hand turn.  Conkwright failed to see a 2000 Ford Pickup Truck that was West bound on Krebs Station Road.  Conkwright  turned into the path of the Ford Pickup operated by Tabitha Wilhite 34, of Mayfield Ky. The vehicles collided in the intersection. 

 

After the collision, Wilhite and a juvenile passenger were transported to a local hospital for apparent non-life threatening injuries.   Nicholas Wilhite, 35 of Mayfield Ky and a separate juvenile were also passengers in the vehicle but were not treated for any injuries at the scene.  Conkwright was also not treated for any injuries at the scene.  

 

Tabitha Wilhite was cited for Failure of Non-Owner/Operator to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense and Nicholas Wilhite was cited for of Owner/ Operator to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense. 

 

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Hendron Lone Oak Fire Dept and Mercy Regional Medical Ambulance Service.
