At 5:45pm Sheriff's Deputies responded 3601 Lone Oak Road for a two vehicle accident with injuries.

Investigation showed that 17 yo Rachel Wurth, of Boaz,KY was operating a 2001 Red Ford Mustang  traveling west bound on Old US 45 attempting to cross US 45.  As Miss. Wurth was crossing US 45 she made contact with a 2011 white Toyota Camry operated by 39 yo Brenda Bradford of Hickory, KY who was traveling south bound on US 45.

 

Miss. Wurth and Mrs. Bradford were  taken to Western Baptist Hospital and Lourdes Hospital for apparent minor injuries.

 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by Lone Oak Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Services.
