At 8:23pm Sheriff's Deputies responded 200 block of Sheehan Bridge Road for a single vehicle accident with injuries.

 

Investigation showed that 20 yo Sherece Boyd of Paducah,KY was operating a white 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt traveling southbound on Sheehan Bridge road.  Miss. Boyd saw a deer in the middle of the roadway and swerved to avoid contact but lost control and over corrected before driving off in a nearby ditch.

 

Miss. Boyd was transported to Lourdes for what appeared to be minor injuries.

 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by the Reidland Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Services.
