At 5:50pm Sheriff's Deputies responded 6200 Old Mayfield road for a two vehicle accident with injuries.

 

22 yo Jacob Champion of Ledbetter KY was traveling outbound on Old Mayfield Road approaching the 6200 Block. As Mr. Champion was approaching a sharp curve in the area he lost control and collided head on with a blue 1997 Mercury Cougar operated by 18 yo Marcus Davis of Paducah KY who was traveling inbound at the time.  Mr. Davis and his front seat passenger, 17 yo Dakota Box of Calvert City KY, were taken by Mercy Ambulance Services to Lourdes for apparent minor injury.  

  

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by The Lone Oak Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Services.
