Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Division arrested a Paducah man at approximately 1:00 PM Monday, September 17. The arrest was the result of an investigation into the alleged selling of prescription pain medication by the male.
Detectives received information that David Tindell of the Shady Acres Mobile Home Park in Paducah was selling his prescription pain medication, specifically Lortab doses. The Sheriff’s Department initiated an investigation where they purchased Lortab doses from Tindell on multiple occasions.
On Monday detectives went to Tindell’s residence located at 2400 Palmer Paducah, KY and located evidence of the sale of the medication as well as money that is believed to be proceeds of the illegal sale of drugs.
Tindell was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on two counts of Trafficking Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (Class “D” felonies, punishable by 1 – 5 years each count) and Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container. At the time of his arrest, Tindell was on parole for prior felony offenses.
