Paducah Couple Arrested For Meth Manufacturing

 A Paducah couple is in jail facing felony Meth manufacturing offenses following a two day investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.  

Detectives began an investigation after receiving information that Methamphetamine was being made at an abandon residence located at 2306 S 25th Street in Paducah. A search warrant was obtained for 2306 S 25th Street in Paducah and executed on 12/19/2012 at approximately 9pm. During a search of the residence detectives seized Methamphetamine labs and numerous components to manufacture the drug.

The investigation revealed that the S 25th Street residence belonged to Aubrey W. Ritchie, who resided at 525 Leeds Drive in McCracken County with Stacie L. Richerson. On 12/20/2012 detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at 525 Leeds Drive in the Lone Oak area of Paducah just before 2pm. Richerson and Ritchie were located at the residence and subsequently arrested. During a search of residence detectives seized a small quantity of Methamphetamine, additional components to make Methamphetamine, surveillance cameras and assorted drug paraphernalia. Ritchie was also found in possession of a key for the residence on S 25th Street.

Detectives learned through their investigation that the couple had purchased Sudafed on more than 200 different occasions since May of 2008, indicating that this activity had been taking place for an extended period of time.

 

Both individuals were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

The Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms

 

Arrested:

Aubrey “ Wayne” Ritchie 54 of Leeds Drive, Paducah, KY

Charges:

Complicity to Manufacturing Methamphetamine (A Class “B” felony punishable by up to 10-20 years in prison), Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Arrested:

Stacie L. Richerson 34 of Leeds Drive, Paducah, KY

Charges:

Complicity to Manufacturing Methamphetamine (A Class “B” felony punishable by up to 10-20 years in prison), Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
